The Annual Hermanus Girls Camp is an extension of the Annual Hermanus Boys Camp that has been running for 111 years!

 

The first girls camp was in 2009. The girls camp runs for four days, and overlaps with the boys Camp.  We usually start the Camp immediately following the AHC Family Day where the girls hike off along the beach to Wortelgat, and combine independent activities with activities where we meet the boys en route.  And, if the weather is right, we manage a terrifying Pirate Battle on the Hermanus lagoon.​

There is usually a challenging hike up the mountain or along the beach.  Over the years, many girls camp members have also completed the infamous Dangerpoint walk.
